And then there were impression of him painting their greenhouse , and putting together a little wooden crib , and then her mystify braggy and bigger still —

And then all at once , picture of a bright infirmary elbow room in the summertime good afternoon sunniness , and a brand - young baby all red and crying in a bassinet , and the shine female parent holding him for the first time . And then the baby ’s first time in the crib I ’d run into built , and his first apparel , and him crawling and eating and smile , and in conclusion that first photo I ’d seen on the lockscreen .

I found the couple ’s home number and called it ; the married man answered . He was really grateful and incredulous when I told him what happened .
