Designer and fantast Thomas Thwaites of late posed an interesting question . What would life be like in a world where evolutionary science never took hold , but humanity was nevertheless as scientifically developed as we are today ? In a series of account and artistry task , he tries to answer that interrogative — and explains why , in this alternating scientific chronicle , it might become pop to engineer your fry to have wings .
Thwaites start his project , called “ Unlikely Objects : ware of a Counterfactual History of Science , ” by asking :
How subordinate is scientific knowledge on historical accident and prospect ?
