Apex has added a nice look 8.4 - inch widescreen DVD player to their lineup , call the PD-840 . It plays videodisk , music , all that salutary stuff , with a cast barrage fire life of 2.5 hours — not long enough for two movies , but probably just long enough for one . Although portable videodisc players are the sorting of product that has very limited appeal to me — if I ’m not view them at abode , they I ’ll probably be watching on a laptop computer — I hump some hoi polloi , specially the great unwashed with kids , get a plenty of gasoline mileage out of them . My own family has jaw through at least two in the last dyad of year keeping my young pal entertained .
Should be available late summer for around for ( a too pricey ) $ 325 .
