According to the trades , the original work is about :
a secluded young inventor who must save his beloved creation from an malevolent industrialist before he use it to sully the existence .

This has been coming together for quite a few year , dozens of order of payment , awesome conceptual artwork and pre - viz efforts and it is a seer and profoundly affecting story Troy has imagined … His oeuvre on Do n’t Be Afraid of the Dark has already turned foreland , and Simple Machines is something he ’s been filming in his heading for quite some sentence and I have no question that audiences will shortly be adding his name to the lean of filmmakers whose body of work is absolutely unmissable .
