I am from California . Now I subsist in New York . It ’s nifty , but I still miss California . A lot . As such , songs like Delta Spirit ’s latest exclusive make me a little homesick .

“ California ” is the first single from their upcoming ego - titled record album , and not wanting to be pegged as an “ Americana ” band , the San Diego Little Phoebe aimed to flip their way up from the previous two albums . All I can think of when I mind to this is springtime . It ’s lustrous , full of energy , and oddly affirmative for a Song dynasty dealing with the last of a human relationship . And their willingness to play around with synthesizers this fourth dimension around really beseem them well . I ca n’t await to hear more .
