Han continued the loop untilthe Falcon was behind the TIE . “ Yeah , but you still haverear shield , ” he sound out to Maas , “ so you cantake it . ” Maas wailed his dissonance , but Hankilled the headset . “ Chewie , start calculating a numbfish shot on that TIE hero . If , like the rest of them , it does n’t have shell , one concussion blast shouldbe enough to take it out . ”
Chewbacca ferment at theweapons console while Han throttled up to exit the distance . The SR - mannikin TIEwas fast , and it appeared tohave plenty of spare great power for the laser cannon . It fired into the fleeing YU-410 without pause .

Chewbacca barked a victorylaugh at the vanished fighter and rise out of his seat .
“ Yeah , ” Han said , “ check onthat generator . See if it can be saved . I do n’t care the approximation of flying withoutrear shields until we can get back to the fleet . ”
Chewbacca growled out hisassent and vanished into the back of theship .
“ Hunter Maas , ” Han said , after flex the headset back on . “ This is Captain Solo call — ”
“ You give notice torpedoes atHunter Maas ! ” the man shouted back . “ The Cosmodiumcould have been ruin ! ”
“ The Cosmodium ? Is thatyour ship ? ”

“ Those were concussionwarheads , they do n’t make a — ”
“ And man of theexploding ship have pierce the Cosmodium ’s Isaac Hull ! Hunter Maas will command extensive repairsto his ship ! ”
“ Hunter Maas , ” Han saidpleasantly .
“ Yes ? ”
“ close up . ”
There was a long silence , though it was impossible to tell if this wasobedience or shock .
“ Thank you , ” Han said . “ Pleasefollow my course to Kiamurr . We ’ll make certain you get there safely . We have asecure bobtail picked out for your landing . ”

“ Hunter Maas like thesound of this private docking facility ! Lead the elbow room , my acquaintance . ”
Han nodded to himself andstripped off the headset .
“ How ’s that for persuasive?”he said to no one .
True to her word , Scarlethad a dock assignment waiting for them at asmall shipment - forwarding warehousejust outside the main city . The warehouse was closed when they arrived , so thedock was empty ofships and employees . She was await for them , hang around on anearby flight of stairs .
Han trotted down the rampfrom the Falcon , hand on the butt of his blaster . They didn’treally have any theme how many people Maas had withhim on his ship , or if they’dbe angry about Han forcing them to land . If Scarlet was worried , it did n’t show .
