Meet Shep Smith . He ’s a Fox News anchor with utterly no meteorological credentials that we could detect . That did n’t stop him from filling his Floridian looker with a message of hope about the impending Hurricane Matthew : “ This [ tempest ] affect 20 Swedish mile to the west and you and everyone you have it away are dead . All of you . ”
Matthew has alreadywrecked havoc in the Caribbeanand have aroundtwo million hoi polloi in the US to void their homes . Is this already disastrous storm projected to move 20 mile inland ? It is , at this point , unlikely . ( The National Hurricane Center update advisories every three hourshere . ) But if it did , Shep want his viewership to know , “ You ca n’t hold up it . It ’s just not possible , unless you ’re very , very prosperous . ” He then look back cheerily towards the camera and tot up , “ And your kids exit too . ” Thanks bud !
There ’s nothing applaudable about spreading flock panic , but exercising caution is unquestionably safer than bear a destructive weather system is actuallya administration conspiracy .
