Meghan Markleisn’t just a close pal toSerena Williams– she’s the tennis star’s fashion muse.
The champion athlete opened up about her clothing line, revealing that the Duchess of Sussex is an inspiration for the brand to be of the “highest quality.”
“It’s so fun because people are like, ‘Oh my God. Like wow, the quality is crazy,’ ” Williams toldBusiness of Fashion. “Listen, if we’re giving our stuff to Meghan, it has to be the highest quality that we can get. So, that’s what I tell our team internally: ‘We have to make sure it’s super high quality that, you know, is fit for a royal princess!’ ”

It didn’t take long for Williams to show her excitement for Meghan’s support.
“The face you make when you and Meghan have matching@serenablazers 😍,” Williams captioned an Instagram post with a photo of herself modeling the blazer with a big smile across her face.

“Planning something like that takes a lot of effort,” Williams, 37, told the publication ofhosting the New York bash.“I’m a perfectionist, so I’m like, ‘Let’s make it perfect.’ ”
