Foxx later showed off his skills in a game ofpickleball with Olympic volleyball star Casey Patterson, as shown in a video posted to Instagram in August.
The actor’s daughterCorinne Foxxpreviously announced in an April 12 statement that her father had “experienced a medical complication” the day prior, though little information about the actor’s recovery has been available since the incident.
In an update one month later, Corinne, 29, said her dadhad “been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” and was even playing pickleball the previous day.

Aside from sweating it out on the pickleball court, Foxx has been soaking up the last bit of summer in Mexico as of late with girlfriendAlyce Huckstepp.
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Foxx “is doing fantastic” after his medical emergency earlier this year, and added that Huckstepp is a good match.
“Alyceis a total sweetheart,” the insider said, also noting that Huckstepp “is Australian but has been in the U.S. for a while.”
