Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s 2015 weddingmay have been blissful for the happy couple (andsoon-to-be parents of four), but it turns out,Chrissy TeigenandJohn Legendwere having far less fun.
On Thursday, Teigen and Legend paid a visit toWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where the couple recalled the massive argument they got into at KimYe’s lavish overseas nuptials.
Details of what caused the disagreement, though, are hard for Teigen and Legend — who have been married since 2013 — to recall.
“I don’t remember what it was about,” Legend, 40, lamented.
“We try to think about this all the time,” added Teigen, 33. She elaborated, “I think I was really intimidated and I think I came from a lot of insecurity and I took it out on John. … There was a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room … that’s where it stemmed from.”
She continued, “I was just very insecure — I think that’s where it stemmed from. And then it just, you know how things snowball into a bigger thing. And also drinking, so that doesn’t help.”

Regardless of why they were bickering, Teigen said that the argument has had a lasting impact. “It was a major blowout to the point where every time I see [Kim and Kanye], I feel like apologizing for it,” she joked.
Legend wasn’t sure. “I don’t think they knew,” he asserted. “Honestly, I don’t think they knew.”
Teigen disagreed. “Oh everyone knew,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Teigen has opened up about one of her fights with Legend.
Back in July, Teigen revealed that she had “a jealously fueled meltdown” and “made an assh— out of myself to a large group of people” while visiting the set of Legend’s hit “Green Light” video.
She explained that Legend’s managers and co-writers were commenting on how beautiful the girls in the video were while speaking to Teigen, a point she didn’t love hearing. “In my mind they not only were talking about it, they were talking about it on purpose to rile me up,” she said. “Looking back and knowing how well I know them now, THEY WERE DEFINITELY RILING ME UP AND GETTING A KICK OUT OF IT.”
Angry, she watched him on the monitor “like a psychotic (tarantula) hawk,” knowing full well that she and Legend met on the set of his 2007 music video, “Stereo,” andhooked up afterwards. “I know how this s— works!” she joked.
Eventually, Teigen burst. “A few more shoulder touches and laughs with her later, I lost it,” she said, remembering how she saw Legend and a model laughing together on set. “Anger turned to sobbing turned to fleeing the set and getting a hotel room. The director (ALAN FERGUSON!) was baffled. Everyone was.”
Looking back on it, Teigen admitted her outburst was just because she was being a “jealous, angry 22 year old.” But to this day, she says that “Green Light” is still her least favorite Legend song. “Maybe subconsciously but mostly I just thought it was corny LOVE YOU JOHNNY!!!!”
And while Teigen is clearly over the incident now — and Legend has no hard feelings (he helped her recall exactly what went down) — theLip Sync Battlepersonality and mother of two did leave a message to all future models in Legend’s videos: “DON’T TEST ME.”
