Katie Couricis sharing her tips for fellow “sensitive skin sufferers.”

The journalist, 66, posted an Instagram photo of her bare face,showing her eczemaon top of both of her eyelids. Couric shared a snapshot of what a flare-up typically looks like for her.Eczematypically causes red and itchy skin.

“Calling all sensitive skin sufferers! 🙋‍♀️ I’ve had eczema ever since I was a little girl, and as I’ve gotten older, it’s started to flare up again,”Couric wrote. “I also deal with allergic contact dermatitis — safe to say, I have to be careful about what I put on my face.”

The formerTodayanchor wrote that her “search for treatment led me to @cherylleemdisme. Her products have really helped,” adding, “I asked Lee a lot of questions about what causes eczema and how to calm flare-ups. You can find all of her tips and tricks at the link in my bio. 🙌.”

“I can’t believe I let my team post this picture. Good Lord 🥴,” Couric joked.

“It just flares up a lot and it’s so annoying! ❤️,” Couric concluded.

Couric has long been open about her health and recentlyshared with PEOPLEin October what her life has looked like since surviving breast cancer.

“I’m a living, walking example of the importance of early detection and getting screened,” she told PEOPLE at the American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala in New York.

Couric revealed herbreast cancerdiagnosis in2022. Couric had a lumpectomy on July 14, 2022, and doctors removed a tumor that was “2.5 centimeters, roughly the size of an olive,” she shared at the time.

Since her diagnosis, the journalist has been an advocate for the importance of early detection.
