Laura Merritt Walker’s loved ones surrounded her to celebrate her late son Callahan’s life.

Merritt Walker went on to thank her online community for sharing their stories and support in her time of need.
“You all have been with us on so many mountaintop moments, and we want to thank those of you that were/are willing to show up for us in the most excruciatingly painful valley as well. You truly have been the hands and feet of Jesus to our family. We love you.”
The family shared a link to a recording of the event, which featured different members of the family speaking, including the couple’s eulogy of their son. Cristie Taylor, who runsMerritt & Stylewith her sister, led a prayer for their couple’s two other children, sons Chamberlain, 7½, and Beckham, 10.

“We are completely broken-hearted to share that we lost our precious Callahan in a tragic accident last week,” the caption on the joint post began.
They concluded, “We take comfort knowing he is being held in the arms of Jesus. We would be honored to have your prayers for peace and strength over our family during this impossible time.”
