She’s sitting on the couch icing her head while sharing how much pain she’s in from the chemo.“My head hurts, I have ice on my head. I feel like I’m having a heart attack. My heart hurts,” she said. “Everything hurts.”“My eyes are strained, they hurt to look to the sides,” she continued. “My whole mouth feels like I got one giant root canal of my whole mouth. Every single tooth, just ripped out and not even surgically put back in. My jaw hurts, the bottom of my tongue hurts. She admitted that so far, chemo has been a much more difficult experience to manage.“I would prefer radiation now, thinking back on it. And I did not like radiation so… I would say I prefer brain surgery too but that might be extreme,” she quipped. “I don’t know, this one’s just the longest journey.”“I think it just stresses me out because so much could go wrong,” she added. “Like oh no, my heart hurts. That could mean I’m having a heart attack. Or my eye is strained, what if my eyes stop working? Or what if my teeth just rot and fall out? I don’t know. Everything you probably could think of possible.”On the bright side, Isabella explained in her vlog that regardless of the pain she’s excited to be back home and sleeping in her own bed for the first time in a while.“Personally I don’t mind the hospital too much because I feel safe, but I do like being home,” she said.While home, Isabella said there’s not much she can do besides stretch, take a walk, drink water and eat some of her favorite foods. She was diagnosed with the condition in October after she started experiencing headaches — which she initially attributed to vertigo — during her freshman year at the University of Southern California.She has since beendocumenting her journeyundergoing treatment in her YouTube series, which she started to benefit Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center.“It’s been like, two months of keeping it quiet, which is definitely difficult.
