•Pierce Brosnan was cited in December for allegedly entering a protected thermal area of Yellowstone National Park
•The ‘James Bond’ actor seemingly shared a photo of himself standing on a white crust similar to those found in the park’s restricted thermal areas
•He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to new court documents
Pierce Brosnanis maintaining he did no wrong while hiking in Yellowstone’s hot springs.
Earlier this month, Brosnan pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, per an additional court document.

The thermal areas within the park include include hot springs, geysers, mudpots, travertine terraces and fumaroles, perYellowstone National Park’s official site.
Yellowstone visitors must respect multiple safety rules around the thermal areas. Thepark warnsthat the ground below the thermal areas “may be only a thin crust above boiling hot springs,” and there is no confirmation whether or not the area is safe.
Additionally, parkgoers must stay on the established walking pathways because the “pools are acidic enough to burn through boots."

Brosnan was in Wyoming in October to film The Unholy Trinity.The Western is mostly being filmed at the Yellowstone Film Ranch in Paradise Valley, according toThe Livingston Enterprise.
The upcoming historical epic stars Brosnan,Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon Lessard and Ethan Peck. Brosnan plays a man who sends his estranged son (Lessard) to kill the man who framed him for a crime he didn’t commit.
