Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson make a great duo on and off the ballroom floor.
TheDancing With the Starsprosfirst met in 2014when they both appeared on the ABC reality series. After a few years of dating,the couple got engagedin June 2018 during a trip to Venice, Italy.
“My life has changed because of [her,]” Chmerkovskiy told PEOPLE at the time of their engagement. “And I find myself to be the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. She’s awesome.”
In January 2023, Chmerkovskiy and Johnson marked another big relationship milestone: They became parents. The couplewelcomed their first child, Rome Valentin Chmerkovskiy, on Jan. 10.
